First Day of school...

Here is sit in my totally quiet house. Only thing I can hear is my dogs snoring. People will say to me that Walker was in school last year but this just seems so different. Seems so permanent, which it is just not ready for him or her for that matter to grow up. They had a great first morning. Lauren was excited that her brother is going to be at her school. She kept talking to him about what he should and should not do. She told him last night then when he goes to the bath room to PLEASE make sure he pulls his pants up before he comes out. HAHA ! I think that is so she wont get embarrassed. Even though at home he pulls his pants up she just needed to make clear that he knew.
Walker says he already is in love with Mrs Harris. He came down twice last night asking what her name was again. He keeps calling her Mrs DeVarris ( his pre-k teacher was Mrs Devore who he adored.)He will figure it out sooner then later I am sure. We are so blessed to have her as his teacher.
Lauren has Mrs Culp. I have heard nothing but fabulous things about her. She has a few kids from her class last year in with her. Also has her good friend Marin. Which she was super excited about. I cant believe that we have a 3rd grader. Where has the time gone ??
At this point Walker so over us taking pictures. He was ready to get in the building and get started.

Yes I know that Lauren's backpack is almost as big as she is but she had to have this messenger bag from Justice. She went only with her Daddy to pick it out. She was so happy with what she found.

I love this pic of Walker. It shows all of the excitement on his face. He's so ready. Lets see how he is come the end of the week and he's exhausted.
This is going to be a great year for both of the kids. We love them so much and so happy for them both.
