What are we going to do today ???

All summer long within about 10 mins of the kids waking up. I hear, Mommy what are we going to do today?? Today  I said nothing just hang out at the house. Lauren says MOOOOMMM, that is so boring. I said you can clean your room, clean the game room, clean the whole house. She just looked at me and says its summer we need to have a vacation from cleaning. Dont I wish that were the case. It getting to be that time in summer when I am ready for school to start. Let the count down begin.

Couch to 5K

I have so many friends that run. Some run for exercise, some do it for fun ( not really sure why), some do it to train for the half marathon . Well I have decided to starting training for a 5k in October.  My reason is really only so I can say I did it ( a bucket list item).  Well and that I need to drop a ton of weight off this butt of mine. I have downloaded the Couch to 5K on my Iphone.   I am SOO NOT A RUNNER. I never have been EVER.  My hope and prayer is by writting this that at least the 2 people who read my blog will help keep me motivated.

Step it up

My sweet friend Julianne ( the Queen of Blogs) told me recently that I needed to"step up" my blog. Then again tonight Kerith told me pretty much the same thing. I guess people do read this. So in their honor I am going to get better with my posts. Just becareful girls you never know what I may write about. ;-)hahaha

Here's to proving me wrong..

So we have this never ending battle with Lauren about the tangles in her hair. She could seriously have some major dreadlocks. So we are to the point with her that if the tangles aren't out by Friday the hair is getting cut off into a little bob. Let me tell you she is TICKED off about it. But as of right now 8:13 on Wednesday May 11 the tangles are still there. We aren't arguing with her ( only one reminder a day). She keeps saying she still has time. Here's to hoping she proves me wrong.

What is ..... ????

I know that I have so much catching up to do. But this had to be posted now. Lauren asked last night what sex was . I about fell over .. SOO not ready for this.. I calmly said well what do you think it is ? She thought a minute and said well I think its when you and Daddy lay in bed and hold hands and maybe kiss. I thought a minute and said its something like that .. She was ok with that answer and moved on.

Then came back later and said Mommy, I think getting pregnant is like a disease. I said why she said well first of all its contagious. I mean lots of the teachers at school have caught it. She said are you going to catch it. I told her not to worry that Mommy has been given a immunizations :-) to make sure that I don't catch it.

I am so not ready for her to grow up.

I thank my lucky stars everyday for the school our kids go to. We are truly blessed with wonderful teachers and staff. I am sure that other schools are great but Bledsoe is such a special place in more ways then I can name. LOVE LOVE Bledsoe so much..
