I promise that I will get this update this weekend. My laptop has been all jacked up. Ken is home to save the day. He is my live in tech guy.. YAY !!!!

Walker's Spring Program...

Walker had his spring program at school right before the break. He really didn't want anything to do with it. Even though his teacher said that he did great during the practices. All of the smiles for the camera were after the program was over. Ken was only able to get one shot of him doing the hand motions to the songs. Of course he sat by his favorite teacher , "My Mrs DeVore". Its going to be sad when school is out in June.. he is going to miss her tons. We all love her.


His entire Pre-K class. They all did an awesome job. But I think Mrs Devore was glad that was all over with.

50's Day...

It was 50's/ Sock-hop at Lauren's school. She wanted nothing to do with a poodle skirt. So this is what we came up with. Pretty cute if you ask me. BTW- that is her brothers 5T button down. If only I was as petite is she is.

Lauren's lost her first molar..

All of the sudden the other night at Nana and Granddaddy's house. Lauren discovered a lose molar. This is not the one she's been working on. It literally just came out with one tug. She was super excited. Even better that she had an audience to see it happen. The tooth fairy only had $5 ( which usually isn't the going rate) and that was left under her pillow.
I normally wouldn't post a picture of the tooth but Lauren says that I had to. So that people could see proof.

Can I please have a ride ???

We decided to take the puppies on a walk the other day. Ken and I both have to go so because Daisy wants to run the entire time and Charlie ( poor Charlie) is getting so old. He walks SOOOO slow that you are pretty much dragging him the entire time. At one point he decided he wasn't going to walk anymore and Walker was in his jeep. So we stuck him in the jeep with Walker. Walker loved having his buddy Charlie next to him. Charlie wasn't so sure about the ride but he did stay put for a few minutes. Walker said I love Charlie in my jeep.

2 girls looking totally cool...

Lauren's good friend Grace came over to hang out ( I was told that they aren't called play dates anymore that she is too old for that). Grace came in the get up that you see in the pics. So then Lauren had to get in on the fun. These 2 were cracking me up thinking they looked so cool. They were sure to let Ken and I know that they looked totally cool. Oh to be 8 yrs old again.

Dear Lord,

Please grant me the patience to deal with my daughter. She told me the other day that, " Mom, you have NEVER gone to 2nd grade you don't understand my homework". I now know what my Mom meant when she used to say to me I hope you have a child just like you. Well Lauren is that child she is ME. I just hope I can survive the teenage years. Please help me.
